Indra, an expert in developing airport workstations, requested that Loop create and design a new product category of air-traffic controllers' workstations to expand their market opportunities in a highly demanding environment. The product had to respond to the constant demands of the operators, who needed ergonomic improvements to increase efficiency, but above all, the workstation should comply to the high safety standards of the facilities.
Our team conducted an ergonomic, technical, aesthetic and industrial study to improve the workstations, identifying the problems and requests of the air-traffic controllers. The result was a technical and highly ergonomic desk that took the user needs into consideration, allowing maximum adjustments and creating a better work environment. The workstations were developed and manufactured under the concept of modularity, being possible to adapt to each Air Traffic Control tower without the need for further adjustments to comply to strict safety requirements.
